RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Discovery of antibacterial compounds from soil bacteria and fungi.
  • Discovery of compounds from natural sources with anti-infectivity activity against hepatitis B virus.
  • Biologically active compounds from plants with traditional medicinal uses from the Eastern U.S.
