Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with background in synthetic organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry for a full-time Research Associate position in our medicinal chemistry group in the pursuit of novel small molecules to treat chronic hepatitis B virus infection, hemorrhagic fevers, and breast cancer. The successful candidate must have a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry, and prior work experience in multistep organic synthesis will be a plus. Under this position you are expected to develop high level of creativity and productivity with strong synthetic problem-solving skills, good laboratory skills and familiarity with modern synthetic techniques and instrumentation (LC-MS, HPLC, NMR, chromatograph). Due to the multi-disciplinary nature of the work, communication skills are also desired. The Baruch S.
