The Baruch S. Blumberg Institute is a private, non-profit research organization dedicated to addressing some of the most pressing challenges in understanding viral pathogenesis, antiviral drug development, and the biology of liver cancer. Our laboratories and associated biotechnology companies seek passionate, ambitious college graduates and postdoctoral fellows eager to engage in cutting-edge biochemical, cellular, and molecular biology research that will help drive breakthroughs in the treatment of hepatitis B virus, flavivirus and coronavirus infections, in leveraging antiviral immunity, and elucidating the oncogenesis and early detection of liver cancer. Beyond virology and liver cancer, we are continually pursuing multidisciplinary approaches and expanding our fields of interest.
