Our research laboratories and spinout companies are actively seeking passionate and energetic college graduates and post-doctoral fellows with a keen interest in molecular virology research, encompassing hepatitis B virus and flaviviruses, innate antiviral immunity, and liver cancer oncogenesis. Utilizing a wide array of biochemical, cellular, and molecular biology techniques, we aim to drive groundbreaking discoveries in these fields. Additionally, we invite scientists at all career levels to join our innovative drug discovery and development, biotechnology, and precision medicine research programs.
Established in 2003 by the Hepatitis B Foundation, the Baruch S. Blumberg Institute is an independent nonprofit research entity situated in the U.S. Big Pharma belt, just thirty miles north of Philadelphia. Operating within the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC), we leverage our proximity to cutting-edge laboratories and entrepreneurial scientists. Together, we focus on translational biotechnology, drug discovery, biomarker development, and collaborative research on chronic hepatitis and liver diseases, including cancer.
