The intern will perform a wide variety of tasks for the communications and marketing programs of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC) and Baruch S. Blumberg Institute, with occasional work for the Hepatitis B Foundation. These are nonprofit, integrated organizations that share the same Doylestown-area campus. The intern will be expected to work on campus one day each week for 4-6 hours.
Along with the organizations’ communications and marketing programs, the intern will be asked to assist with the organizations’ development (fundraising) and special events programs.

The intern will be invited to make suggestions and offer ideas for new initiatives and content. The intern will negotiate a regular weekly schedule with the intern’s supervisor and will be expected to adhere to that schedule, as much as possible, and regularly report on progress.
The intern will work 18-20 hours per week with a pay rate of $12 per hour. We will give preference to interns who will be registered for a college internship course and receiving credit.
