MedSci, FACP, FAAAS, FRSB, MBA, FRCP (Ireland), FRC (London), MAE, distinguished professor at the Blumberg Institute was recently elected to membership of the Hungarian National Academy of Sciences. Honorary Members of the Hungarian National Academy of Sciences are individuals, including both Hungarian and foreign scholars, who are recognized for their outstanding contributions to science and are elected for life.
Blumberg Institute faculty and staff including Aejaz Sayeed, PhD, Timothy Block, PhD and Daniel Zezulinski have published the article “Detection of Circulating mRNA Variants in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Patients using targeted RNAseq.” The objective of the study was to use targeted RNAseq to validate the specificity and sensitivity of these HCC selective variants in an independent cohort of patients with liver cirrhosis (LC).
