Research Overview
My research focuses on the physical, emotional, social, and economic impact of living with hepatitis B. Through this work, I aim to generate evidence to support the inclusion of quality-of-life metrics in hepatitis B treatment guidelines and clinical trials endpoints. I am also deeply interested in documenting the lived experiences of people living with hepatitis B to empower them to have effective conversations with their healthcare providers, families, and communities. Additionally, I explore the perspectives of people living with hepatitis B regarding clinical trial participation, with the goal of improving access to clinical trials for the most impacted communities.
Additionally, I am a passionate advocate for teaching public health and promoting how public health practices can empower communities to achieve health equity.
