Post-Graduate Education

The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center is a unique environment to complete your post-graduate education. We offer several post-graduate opportunities, within the vibrant entrepreneurial environment of the Center. Current programs include partnerships with Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as post-doctoral fellowships with scientists at the Center.

Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine

Since April 2016, The Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (GSCM) offers its Masters degree in Biological Sciences (MBS) in partnership with the Blumberg Institute. Students will be taught by Blumberg Institute professors and will complete their MBS in 16 months by attending evening and weekend classes at the Blumberg Institute in Doylestown, PA. The curriculum is identical to Geisinger’s established MBS program, but the location at the Blumberg Institute will connect students with world-class researchers and entrepreneurs in a biotech incubator environment conducive to a rich and innovative learning experience. University of Pennsylvania

University of Pennsylvania students in the Master of Chemical Sciences program can complete research at the Baruch S. Blumberg Institute. The Master of Chemical Sciences offers full and part-time options to enable students to pursue their education without interrupting their careers.

Post-Doctoral Fellowships

Graduate students who have completed their degree programs are invited to apply for post-doctoral positions with the distinguished research faculty of the Blumberg Institute located in Bucks County, PA in an environment conducive to interaction, collaboration and with a focus on translational science.
